Pop-Punk & Pizza #114: Fluorescents

Covid-19 has pretty much stopped live music dead in it’s tracks for the most part. However, it hasn’t stopped most bands from releasing new music. Thank God for that, right? In my opinion, Chicago has one of the best pop-punk scenes in the country, maybe even the world. One of the newer bands in the Windy City scene is, Fluorscents, calling themselves, “Post Pop-Punk”. Their song, “Not Another Pop-Punk Song”, is on the Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast Spotify playlist this month. Three out of the four members join me on this episode. Please welcome, Tyler Milka, Bobby Guidi, and Sasquel Roby Exum! We had a lot of fun talking about the band’s new EP, “Dead End Conversations”, Green Day, ska music, and more.

Fluorescent’s newest EP, “Dead End Conversations”, is available everywhere online.
