Pop-Punk & Pizza #126: Hometruths

It’s always a special treat when I get to talk with bands from other countries. The United Kingdom’s pop-punk scene has been growing quite a bit in recent years. The band, Hometruths, of Newcastle are a testament to that statement. Lead vocalist/guitarist, James McLackland, and Bassist, Ross Gilroy, stayed up late to talk with me about their newest single, “Shimmers”, released via Lost Music Collective. James and Ross explain the song is about the negative impact social media can have on our mental health. Plenty of other cool stories in this conversation as well. Thanks for loosing some sleep for me guys!
